Unit 6   Holidays》教学设计

 

江宁区铜井中心小学  陈文娣

 

一、教学要求

1.初步掌握Childrens Day, New Years Day, Christmas, people, had.,  went .Mid-Autumn Festival, May Day, Spring Festival, relative, delicious, favourite, dress up…等单词和词组。

2.熟练运用日常交际用语Christmas is coming. My favorite holiday is . Whats your favourite  holiday? Whens.? Its in/on. What do people usually do at/on ?   They  Did you last ? Yes, I did./No, I didnt.

3.会读课文并初步理解课文,掌握学习课文的基本方法。

二、教学重点、难点

1.会读课文并初步理解课文,掌握学习课文的基本方法。

2.相关句型的运用。

三、教学过程

Step 1: Free talk

1.T: What day is it today? What date is it today?

Ss: It’s … .

T: What holiday is on the 31st of October?

Ss: Halloween! (PPT出示)

   (Talk about Halloween)

2.Learn: Did you last ? And say a chant

 1)Learn: Did you last ?

PPT 出示 Did you last ? 学生跟读

   2) Say a chant

Step 2: Presentation

1.You know many holidays. And today our topic is——(出示标题)

   S: Holiday.

   PPT  出示前言

   Teach:  Christmas    get very excited

2.Listen to the text ,and circle the holidays (学生听课文对话录音)

3.Check the answer

 Lear the new words :Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn FestivalNew Years Day

4.Read the text after the tape

5.Read the text and answer the questions

  1) What do people usually do on New year’s Day ?

  2) What do people usually do at spring festival ?

  3) What do people usually do at Halloween ?

  4) What do people usually do at Mid-Autumn Festival?

6.Read the text again ,and have a match

7.Read the text in groups ,do a holiday report

8.The students act the report ,the teacher write something on the blackboard.

9.Use these new words and phrases on the blackboard to retell the text together .

Step 3: Consolidation

Play a guessing game : what holiday is it?

1.Make a dialogue with the partner

2.Act the dialogue , the other students guessing

Step 4: Homework

1.Read the text after the tape three times , pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation.(听录音,跟读课文三遍,注意语音和语调)

2.Try to know more about other different holidays. Next time we’ll talk about them .(通过多种途径了解其他的节日)
